Black Shark CH Profile Scatter

Here is a basic CH profile for Black Shark. It in no way attempts to replicate the positions of controls on the real aircraft.

The command list was generated using some LUA code added to the end of the Black Shark file keyboard.lua. The script is based upon my work on how to implement CH HOTAS hardware trim for Black Shark. It is the version that utilises the native trim (bottom of page).

After downloading the program to your CH gear, you'll need to assign your axes in Black Shark. Your CH gear should be in mapped mode and in Black Shark on the axes controls page you should have 3 CH columns (CH Control Manager1, 2 , &3).

I've got my gear set up this way:

  • For CH1 (joystick) the Y axis is set to pitch and the X axis to roll
  • For CH2 (throttle) X=SHKVAL Horiz slew, Y=SHKVAL Vert, Z= Collective
  • For CH3 (rudders) Z= rudder and X= wheelbrake
